Jon Montagna

About Jon Montagna
I have been fortunate to have been practicing law since 2000. Like many sons, I was greatly influenced by my father. Charles Montagna, or as his clients knew him, Chuck, was an attorney for an amazing fifty-eight years. My father was passionate about serving injured people in Hampton Roads, Virginia. My father’s passion had a large impact on me and inspired me to go to law school and follow him in his footsteps.
I saw what an incredible impact my father had on his clients. How my father was able to help hard working people pick up the pieces of their shattered lives and find a path toward healing and financial security. This spoke to me as I naturally had an affinity for the little guy and a desire to stand up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves.
After graduating from American University in Washington, D.C., I decided to attend the University of Miami School of Law. Through hard work I was able to graduate Cum Laude from law school. As I graduated law school, personal injury law, in particular, resonated with me because it centers on helping people navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. It involves me representing people as they battle large corporations and insurance companies
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been building relationships with my clients. They come to us in moments of vulnerability, entrusting us with their futures. That trust is something I have never taken lightly. I have always believed that our role as attorneys goes beyond legal representation; we are also counselors, guides, and advocates. It is our responsibility to ensure that our clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their legal journey.
Over my legal career, I have witnessed the transformative power of advocacy. I have seen families rebuild after catastrophic injuries, workers regain their dignity after workplace accidents, and individuals find closure after years of uncertainty. These outcomes are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire legal team, as well as the courage and perseverance of our clients.
His areas of practice include Personal Injury Claims, Auto Accident Claims, Truck Accident Claims, Premises Liability Claims, and Maritime Injury Claims. Jon Montagna is a Premier Personal injury Lawyer in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach & Newport News area.
